Frederick C Awcock

Private, number 42020, Frederick Awcock was in the 5th Battalion of the North Staffordshire Regiment.

Frederick died on the 24th October 1918, 17 days before the war ended, and is buried in Sarralble Military Cemetery in France. He was 24 years old.

As well as the St Augustine's memorial, he is also commemorated on the Victory Park gates in Addlestone and the St Paul's church memorial in Addlestone.
